Answer

Streaming movies via your account is a real stretch of Fair Use and requires licensing under the TEACH Act.

Students can get their own accounts through services like Netflix or Amazon to view movies. You may show a DVD movie in a face-to-face class.

The user agreement states “the Software is only for your own personal, non-commercial use and not for use in the operation of a business or service bureau, for profit or for the benefit or any other person or entity.”

Check out licensed streaming video you can use for online and face-to-face classes.
