Answer

The NVC Library carries two types of reserve items, Course Reserves and Permanent Reserves.

Course Reserves, like textbooks and required reading, can be found at the circulation desk. They can be checked out for up to tow hours at a time, but are not to leave the library. You must use your current Alamo Colleges ID to check out a Course Reserve item from the Circulation Desk. Please come by to see if we have your textbook or course reserve material on hand. You can also call us at (210)486-4500 or check our online catalog for availability.

Permanent Reserves, like encyclopedias and such, are available for use in the library only and cannot be checked out. They can be found near the Reference Desk.
